The Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour prize giveaway is organized by Magic 106.3 FM Bacolod, and the winner will get an all-expense paid trip to Manila, complete with airfare, hotel accommodation and a concert ticket to Perry's concert in the Philippines May 7, a press release from the station said.

Those interested may join by making a 10-second video showing why they should win, and send the entry, as a private message, to Magic 106.3 Bacolod's Facebook page at facebook.com/magic1063bacolod, the press release also said.

After the confirmation message, entrants will be given further contest details and a video link for online voting. The video with the most number of “likes” by the end of the poll on April 30 wins. SIFI holds training

The Sugar Industry Foundation Inc. held recently a three-day seminar-workshop on basic English and grammar, for 29 college SIFI scholars, at its training center in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, its press release said.

English teacher Christian Montojo of the Carlos Hilado Memorial State College facilitated the activity. Major competencies included identifying grammatical errors through proper usage and grammatical rules, paragraph writing and development, essay writing and techniques development, and oral recitation and reading, the press release said.*

The life and love of comedy queen Ai-Ai delas Alas will be featured in the “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” show Sunday at GMA 7, a press release from the station said.

From starting out as a saleslady, to being a comedian, to becoming the famous actress that she is now, her life story is as colorful as her roles and personality, and with her successful career comes a very controversial personal life. Jessica Soho will try to uncover Ai-Ai's secret to staying popular and well-loved by her fans in the news magazine program, the press release also said.
