Livestock raisers get vet's help

Medicines and antibiotics for animals have been provided to the 188 livestock raisers of Toboso and its neighboring towns by the Provincial Veterinary Office, Dr. Renante Decena, provincial veterinarian, said yesterday.

Based on the PVO records, the office provided medicines for 151 carabaos, 165 cows, 300 pigs, 322 goats and 2,801 chickens.

The service was part of their veterinary medical mission during the Office of the Ombudsman-6 15 th Caravan of Government Services last week, Decena said.

His office sent three veterinarians and one project development officer to assist livestock raisers seek for assistance, he added.
