Fyr Fyter Marketing routed 888 Premier, 73-52, to bring home the Class B of the Fil-Sino Inter-color Basketball Tournament at Bacolod Tay Tung High school Po Hang Gym, Friday night.

Kenneth Ymalay and Pao Pao Lim scored 17 and 18 points respectively, to make up for the absence of their top scorer Julius Teruel, to win the title.

Revenge was sweet for Fyr Fyter who fell to 888 Premier twice in the elimination round behind the heroics of Mark Antonio, who averaged 32 points against them. During the final match, Antonio was limited to five points.

Lim and Ymalay combined for 17 points in the first canto to take a 20-13 opening quarter lead even as Jeffrey Lee made six points for 888.

A low scoring game for both teams in the next two quarters, even with 888 producing their best quarter in the third with 15 points, could not narrow the deficit as Fyr Fyter kept a 46-36 advantage going to the final chapter.

Another low scoring end game for 888 Premier doomed their championship chances as Fyr Fyter produced their best quarter output led by Monroe Chua and Lim conspiring for 16 points to seal the championship.

Chua and tubby Villanueva had 10 points each for Fyr Fyter , Rommel Genovea and Mark Yu added 7 points apiece , and Noriel Bermudez had 4 points.

Lee paced 888 Premier with 14 points, Mark Javelosa and Jr Lacson shot 6 points each, Brian Ong made 5 points, Brent Chan and Joshua Lao had 4 points apiece and Ramon Sy contributed 3 points.*
