Remembering Paz
For the past 22 years, the yearly anniversary of the late Paz Puentevella Manaloto was always held at the Sacred Heart, or popularly known as Lupit Church, in Bacolod City.
This time, because of the bad weather, the family just visited the Bacolod Memorial Park and then proceeded to Lupit Church for a thanksgiving mass, officiated by Fr. Raymon Asoy.
Teresita and youngest sister Mention Manaloto took care of everything, from the flower arrangement, to the caterer and the selection of food. No invitation was needed since all the relatives and close friends of the family knew it was the yearly celebration for “Lola Pau”, as her apos addressed her.
During the homily, Fr. Asoy remembered Paz as a very generous and prayerful lady, and supporter of Lupit Church.
After the mass and blessing, everybody partook of the food prepared by Nobles. Special attractions were fresh grapes, oranges, butterscotch and fresh bananas. Special guests were Norma Regidor from U.S.A., brother Ramon, nephew Michael, Georgina and Mica Maravilla, to mention a few. It was a lovely reunion for the family.*
Remember: We may not know what the future hold, but we can trust the One who holds the future. What God gave to us, He want us to share.*
