Good Housekeeping Seal
BY JUANCHO GALLARDE

Twenty-seven local government units in Region 7, among them two cities in Negros Oriental, are this year's recipients of the Seal of Good Local Governance, a mechanism which tracks the performance of local government units and to further strengthen accountability at the LGU level.

Department of Interior and Local Government Region 7 director Rene Burdeos made the announcement Thursday while attending the regular provincial conference of the department to tackle local DILG operations, and the peace and order public safety planning workshop among local government operations officers in Negros Oriental.

He said that in the entire region, only the cities of Dumaguete and Bais, both in Negros Oriental, qualified to become recipients of the Seal of Good Housekeeping. .moremoremore
