The Bacolod City government has paid Dynamic Builders Construction Philippines Inc. P13,217,568.36 for the first billing that covers January 1 to 14, 2015, Bacolod General Services Officer Jerome Solinap, said yesterday.
Of the amount, P8,205,135 was paid for hauling 16,410 cubic meters of garbage, and P5,012 433.36 for the disposal of garbage at the dumpsite in Barangay Felisa, Solinap said.
He said he could not give the exact date when the payment was made since there were other agencies that processed it.


Capitol seeking PPPs
for hospital equipment
The Negros Occidental provincial government is inviting interested accredited companies to submit their comparative/competitive proposals for a public-private partnership scheme for hospital equipment in provincial government-run hospitals in the province, a press release from the Capitol said.
The equipment needed are: Adult Ventilators for Intensive Care Unit, Adult Ventilators for Special Care Unit/Wards, Pedia/Neonate Ventilators, Arterial Blood Gas Machine with AVR and UPS, Pulse Oximeter, and Cardiac Monitor, Economic Enterprise Development Department head, Japhet Masculino said.
The PPP scheme, where the company that owns the equipment, makes it available for use at cost to the patient, is resorted to in line with the priority development agenda of Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. to equip the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital and other provincial government-run hospitals with vital hospital equipment to address the health care needs of its constituents, the press release said.
