LopTTA players anchor
Negros table tennis win
Table Tennis players from the Lopue's Table Tennis Association of Leonito Diotay Lopue won the secondary boys and girls’ table tennis gold medal for Negros Occidental in the 2015 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet held last week in Kalibo, Aklan.
The LopTTA paddlers bagged four gold medals as they swept the team and individual singles events in both boys and girls’ divisions.
The Negros team added a silver medal from the secondary girls’ singles event while the boys’ team picked up additional three bronze medals from the secondary boys’ singles and elementary boys’ team and individual singles.

BTTHS players shine in Brothers Fernando Caesar and Fern Alekzander Po of Bacolod Tay Tung High School will be representing Western Visayas in secondary boys’ elementary tennis doubles during the 2015 Palarog Pambansa scheduled on May 3 to 9 in Tagum City, Davao del Norte. The Po siblings earned the privilege of donning the regional colors after bagging the gold in the 2015 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet in Kalibo, Aklan last week. Meanwhile, BTTHS is set to acquire three talented young basketeers who who displayed their skills at the WVRAA Meet. |

Mayweather set to announce The highly-anticipated mega-fight between WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and undefeated WBC king Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a done deal, media reports said. According to the Telegraph, the Filipino boxing superstar and Mayweather, who is undefeated in 47 fights, have finally come into terms to end five years of negotiation for a fight the world boxing fans are eager to see. "Manny has 100 percent signed his side of the deal. It is now over to Mayweather to close the deal and announce the fight,” a source close to Pacquiao told the Telegraph Sport. |
