surge ahead in bowling tilt

Sharp Aquos leads in the premiere division, and FRM Marketing and Tiger Eye in the non-rated and women’s division of the ongoing Top’s Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza alley in Bacolod City.

After three rounds of competition, Irne Diaz’ Sharp II posted 2,754 points to lead the eight-teams in Class A category.

At No. 2 is Canvil Knights of Ulysses Pacheco with 2,718, while Art Palo’s Sharp I lands at third with 2,638.

In the same bracket are NPBC with 2,623; Davies IX, 2615; Metro Sales, 2,579; ASSFBI Solid Strikers, 2,556, and ASSFBI Electronz, 2,526.

In the non-rated category, FRM Marketing of Fil Magbojos led with 2,732 followed by Davies XIII with 2,640.

Candles/Alimon Steel has 2,635; Joe’s Team, 2,606; Davies VII, 2,569; Rapha Bowlers, 2,516; Sanyo/Haier, 2,503, and 4-Fun, 2,229.

In the ladies’ bracket, Tiger Eye bowlers headed by Jumilyn De la Cruz topped with 2,457.

Also competing are Panasonic with 2,411; RJ Stars/NPBC, 2,393; Condura II, 2,384; Condura I, 2,366; Triple K, 2,242, and Kami Mga Gwapa, 2,110.

The event is a six-round series with the top four teams vying for the title in an up-the-ladder system championship.*HLG
