Landmark days

Yesterday, our group treated birthday celebrator, Carmencita Maalat, to a sumptuous lunch at Kai-Sei Resto. Carmen is married to Ernie Maalat and has two children. She is now a grandma, but looks quite young for that.

We all enjoyed the food served, and the celebrator had gifts for everybody, a big calendar with an image of the Blessed Virgin.

Valentine’s Day is a celebration with loved ones, family, group mates, text mates or someone special. For Lourdes Sea Dimsum and Noodle House, it was a double celebration as it also marked its 17th anniversary.

Present at the early mass officiated by Fr. Araneta were the Ciocon family members, headed by the president of the Lourdes C. Group of companies, Roseller Ciocon, and lovely wife Ditas, sister Delia, JB and Marides Mapa, Mondi and Maridel Dilag, and Gina Ciocon. After the mass, Fr. Araneta blessed every nook and cranny of the resto and this was followed by a hearty breakfast.
