PAL offering new service

MANILA-- Flag carrier Philippine Airlines is making online ticket transactions easier to do with a new service that allows passengers to manage flight rebooking and advance seat reservations, a government press release said.

Through  Manage My Booking service, PAL its passengers can purchase online-issued tickets and also add or purchase ancillary items such as choice and forward economy seats.

The new service applies to domestic and international one - way or round - trip tickets issued through www.philippineairlines.com.

All passengers have to do is log on to www.philippineairlines.com, press the Manage My Booking icon, type in their booking reference and last name.

After carrying out these easy steps, they can adjust their flight departure/arrival date, time, origin, destination and contact information.

Services offered by this facility are subject to corresponding fees (rebooking, purchase of choice seats) and fare adjustments, if applicable.

The facility will accept passenger requests for flight changes up to 24 hours before a flight.

PAL meanwhile said that passengers who wish to make flight changes within 24 hours from departure time must call PAL Hotline (02) 855-8888 or visit the nearest PAL ticket office.*PNA
