Bacolod mosaic artist Millie Kilayko’s “La Sonrisa de Dios: Dia y Noche (The Smile of God: Day and Night)” creation now graces the walls of the Glass Pavilion of the Chateau by the Sea in Mactan Island, Cebu.
Kilayko’s mosaic creation was commissioned by Chateau owner Nonie Uy.
“This mosaic rendition represents the smile of God that graces every person's life, a reassuring gesture of His ever present love,” she said.
The mosaic depicting day on a large wall at the lobby of the Glass Pavilion is 15 feet wide and 8 feet high, while the mosaic depicting night wraps around the elevator.
The Glass Pavilion is a three-storey glass building overlooking the clear waters of Mactan, that offers unique and breathtaking views.*CPG
