Batch ’90 paces NOHS bowlfest

Batch ’90  continues  to lead  the premiere division of the Negros Occidental High School Alumni Association , Inc. Emerald Five-Man Team Friendship Cup Bowling Spectacle at the Super Lanes and Entertainment Center of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

In Class B, Golden/Class’62 Combined remained  No. 1, while Batch 2000  led in Class C.

Games will resume  at 5  tonight.

The leading Batch in Class A premier division led by Michael Corral and Mark Andrew had  a total score of 6,043 points, 183 points ahead of second  place  Class ’82 headed by Mae Trayfalgar.

No. 3 is the Eveline Lingco-led Class’73 with 5,833 points while Noel  Tan’s group in Class’83  with  5,702  in  No. 4.

Leading in Class B is Golden/Class ’62 Combined spearheaded by Jerry Bantilan and Jun Garrucho with 5,738 followed by Batch ’97 anchored by Karl Barbosa with 5,719.

Batch ’95 is  third  with 5,711 and Batch ’94  fourth with 5,682.

In Class C, Batch’2000-Up  led  by Raymund and Rommel Galvan is on top with 5,761 points.

Second and third are Batch ’99 and Class’86 with 5,614 and 5,487, respectively, followed by Class ’71 led by Boni Ta-ala with 5,426, and Class ’67 at fifth place with 5,421.

          In the individual competition, Iran Pielago of Class’85 and Grace Diopenes of Batch’91 recorded the highest pinning mark in their respectively brackets  with 94 and 95 points, and  Yenz Gepana (Batch’95), and Gearla Manderico (Class’87) in single with 160 and 143 points.

Cesar Sumaylo (Class ’82) holds the record in the men’s highest triple with 362, and  Manderico in the women’s bracket with 330.*HLG
