ETCS 1 GPTA turns
over vehicle to school

The officers of the General Parents-Teachers Association of the Educational Training Center and School I in Bacolod City, headed by Ma. Xenia Emnace, recently turned over a Suzuki multi-cab van to ETCS I principal Maricor Daprinal, its press release said.

The vehicle was purchased from the proceeds of the “Bingo Kapamilya” fund-raising activity of the group in February, the press release also said.

The turnover was witnessed by ETCS I guidance coordinator Fernando Ortega; ETCS I Teachers' Wheel president Reggie Aranez; and ETCS I GPTA vice president Rex Cantong, secretary Miladelle Bacnutan; assistant secretary Consuelo Caberte, treasurer Ritchel Villanueva, assistant treasurer Mary Ann Flores; auditor Nona Magbanua; public information officer Jennifer Dime, and Board director Edna Agravio, the press release added.*

GMA to feature flow boarding

GMA stars Solenn Heussaff, Iya Villania and Dennis Trillo will go flow boarding, the coolest sport in town, at Flowhouse Manila on Saturday, a press release from the station said.

Their challenge is to learn the sport that is the combination of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding so they won't get “wiped out,” or fall off the board while riding the waves. Solenn and Dennis will also try Flowhouse's café bestseller for the perfect refreshment for hungry flow riders.

Meanwhile, Lauren Young will check out Sentro 1771 in Capitol Commons, to learn how they prepare their signature dish “Corned Beef Sinigang”, and all these will be shown 8:45 p.m. Saturday on GMA News TV,” the press release added.*
