Fresh menu
I attended the birthday celebration for the late tita Paz Manaloto, held at St. Vincent's Home for the Aged in Bacolod City Sunday.
The chapel was filled with families, relatives, and friends, with Fr. Naring de la Cruz officiating in the thanksgiving mass. Lunch was laid out at the big dining hall of the place, and enjoyed by the lolos and the lolas of the home.
I sampled only the dessert, as I had another appointment at Chalet L'Fisher. Thanks to Fr. Naring for giving me a ride. I joined the table of Ivy V. and while Armand, my favorite waiter, was taking our orders, I looked around and waved at friends and familiar faces, who were enjoying their food.
With chefs Sunny Tagacay, Alan Lindog, Jao Robles, Karen Vallota, Chique Jardio and Paulin Cortez manning the kitchen, the best of the dishes were prepared. Miguel Nacionales, events and marketing coordinator of L'Fisher Grand Hotel, welcomed us and talked about the fresh menu of Filipino dishes offered at Chalet Resto. Bon appétit!*
Remember: Freedom doesn't give us the right to do what we please, but to do what pleases God. The hand of the Father is behind all good things*
