Team Festa of Rak Wariors Philippines beat University of St. La Salle Team A in the championship round, 21-12, 17-21, 15-9, to capture the title in the 2nd USLS Sepak Takraw Open held at the Dizon Covered Court.

With members Julius Cantero, John Deroa, Junie Panaguiton, and Herman Umadhay, the Festa team advanced to the final after defeating early round tormentor Talisay, 21-11, 18-21, 15-7, in the semifinals.

La Salle A, with players Jeanibert Rosales, Glen Tadeo, Jero Torico, and Jomel Tumacas, arranged a titular showdown with Festa after taming Rams First, 19-21, 21-14, 15-10, in the other semis match-up. Listed in the Rams First lineup were Richard de la Cruz, Ely Lee, Ernesto Numbra, and Richard Mark Prado.

Taekwondo jins from Crishar Taekwondo Training Gym displayed their impressive form and went home with several gold, silver, and bronze medals during the R6A Regional Poomsae Taekwondo Championship held recently at the SMX in Bacolod City.

Palarong Pambansa 2015 gold medalist Shemaiah Angel Anzano led the team Crishar's golden harvest with a golden finish in individual poomsae blackbelt junior event, while Sean Anthony Arbis and Kristel Joy Tihume reigned in the low yellow category.

Natasha Rexanne Rodrigazo also grabbed the gold in low blue division, Karl Kani Reyes in the blackbelt group, Mairo Joseph Reyes in red belt event, and Jade Rabelista in the high blue divison.
