Negros Occidental Board Member Alain Gatuslao (5 th District) graduated with a Master of Laws degree cum laude from the San Beda College Graduate School of Law in Manila Saturday.
His thesis was on the “Power of Eminent Domain: A Review of Philippine and American Law and Jurisprudence”.
Gatuslao, 42, defended his thesis before San Beda College Graduate School of Law dean, Fr. Ranhilio Aquino, Ateneo de Manila Law School d ean, Sedfrey Candelaria , f ormer University of the Philippines Law dean Pacifico Agabin, and former Rep. Teddy Boy Locsin.
He has a Management Economics degree from Ateneo de Manila University, and graduated cum laude from the University of St. La Salle College of Law.
The commencement speaker at Gatuslao's graduation Saturday was former Speaker of the House Arnulfo Fuentebella of Camarines Sur.
There were only two academic honors awarded for law to Gatuslao and Oscar Raro, both as cum laude.*CPG
