A national convention of hog raisers is set at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City on April 14-16, 2016 Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. said yesterday.

The convention is expected to draw 4,000 delegates that will be boost local tourism, the governor said.

The convention may coincide with Negros Occidental's annual Panaad Festival, the governor said.
