Villanueva disgusted
over fight result

Bago City native Arthur Villanueva expressed his disgust after losing his first fight when he challenged former Olympian and undefeated McJoe Arroyo of Puerto Rico for the International Boxing Federation super flyweight title in El Paso, Texas Sunday.

Villanueva, who was 27-0 with 14 knockouts going into the fight, lost after the fight was cut short in the 10th round due to a cut in the ALA fighter's face and the fight went to the score cards.

Larry Hazzard Jr. and Levi Martinez had Arroyo winning with a comfortable, 98-91, while John Stewart had it, 97-92, giving the former Olympian Arroyo the IBF super flyweight crown.
