non compliance of contract
BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO
The chief executive officer of Mactan Rock Industries yesterday denied that their company failed to comply with its commitment to the Dumangas-Barotac Nuevo Water District.
This came after the Utilities Consumers Alliance of Negros requested the Bacolod City Water District to take into consideration during its post qualification stage the track record of MRII after receiving reports that the sole bidder for its bulk water supply project failed to comply with its commitment to DBNWD.
Antonio Tompar, MRII CEO, said that it is DBNWD that owes them about P18.3 million in water dues. This does not include surcharges for late payments.
