The Nacionalista Party will name its presidential candidate for 2016 after her partymates have come up with a decision, Senator Cynthia Villar said yesterday.
Villar said three NP members – senators Antonio Trillanes IV, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, and Allan Peter Cayetano – have expressed their intention to run for president.
“We are waiting for them to decide whether they are running or not. If not, we will support other candidates,” she said.

BY JUANCHO GALLARDE
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Oriental allotted more than P28 million for the Productivity Enhancement Incentive of Capitol employees as reward for exceeding agency financial and operational performance targets.
The PEI is provided for in Executive Order 181, signed by President Benigno Aquino III, dated May 25 this year. Section 1 of the order states the one-time grant of the PEI which is equivalent to either P5,000 across the board, or one month basic salary of a government employee.
The SP appropriated P28 million for the grant of what was described by employees as their 14 th month pay, Provincial Administrator Richard Inojo said.
