Negrense pianist holds concert
Negrense pianist Leonor Kilayko performed piano pieces encompassing different countries, like Italy, with Domenico Scarlatti, and Germany with JS. Bach, F.J. Hayda and Robert Schumann, in Malate recenty, a press release said.
There was also music from Russia, with A. Scriabin’s early prelude, and as a finale, selections by Polish national Frederic Chopin, with the well-loved, Ballade in G minor, the press release also said.
Among the guests were Satur Ocampo and wife, Bobbie Malay; Richard Sy-Facunda, Mr. Haman, a Crotian-Danish national who has been living in the Philippines for the past 37 years, friends from Europe Ruby Parial, a former Labor attache’ and Fran Mueller; painter Mario de Rivera, and his wife; George Reynoso of The Diamond Hotel, Rita Silos-Gatuslao of Negros and sister Sony Ng, the press release added.*
