Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod Nestea Ice Tea got back at Tanduay Black, 76-54, while Cobra Energy Drink slipped past AX Currency Absolute Water to register an 80-77 victory, in the latest match-ups of the 2015 Fil-Sino Asia Brewery Inc. Basketball Invitational Cup played at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

The win against Tanduay Black was Rotary Club’s fourth after seven games, while Tanduay dropped to 1-5.

After registering a slim 20-17 advantage in the first quarter, Rotary Club widened the lead to 39-25 at halftime.

Tanduay Black failed to stop the Rotarians as Julius Teruel scored nine points in the third quarter to extend the lead at 56-36 going into the payoff period.

Teruel finished with a game-high 21 points for Rotary Club while Pao Pao Lim led Tanduay Black with 18 points.

In the other game, AX Currency absorbed its second loss to share the top spot with Cobra Energy in Class A Standings at 4-2.*
