An alumnus of Silliman University in Dumaguete City placed fourth in the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination held this month, a press release from the school said.
Danderick Avanzado of Batch 2014 was the lone taker from Silliman in the March licensure examination, as most students from the Institute of Clinical Laboratory Sciences take that in September, the press release said.
Meanwhile, 16 SU graduating students are among the recipients of the Young Men's Christian Association Outstanding Awards. They are Mikle Vito Abing (Political Science), Evince Earl Columnas (Accountancy), Mark Roy Diez (Information Technology), Kimberlyn Faith Favor (Political Science), Sanfred Germudo Jr. (Accountancy);
Zevie Marquez (Management), Jeff Nicolo Palad (Physical Therapy), Mae Ann Piñero (Economics), Diane Dhale Saycon (Nursing), Lorraine Allie Solitario (Computer Science), Hanz Denzil Villahermosa (Education), Diva Putri Wulandari (Nursing), Jude Martin Amiscaray (High School), Jana Jae Gumalo (High School), Francis Roy Albina (Elementary), and Marc Kyle Maxino (Elementary), the press release said.
They were recognized during the 25th Outstanding Student Awards Program of YMCA Negros Oriental Chapter, at the Dumaguete Cathedral Credit Cooperative Function Hall, recently, the press release added.*
