BSEd graduate to lead
UNO-R Batch 2015

Ma. Karren Katherine Perartilla will lead more than 900 graduates of degree programs of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Saturday in Bacolod City, a press release from the school said.

Perartilla, BSED English 4 graduate, will deliver the valedictory address. The 10 other magna cum laude graduates are Willy Alcalde, Niel Jason Baliguas, Maria Inez Benedicto, Ma. Karina De Leon, Gina Mae Flores, Methozela Iligan, Christian Miran, Cesar Ryan Panunciar, Krishiel Ann Serrano, and John Leur Virtucio, the press release also said.

The 26 cum laude graduates are John Lester Almosa, Jann Marie Grace Antolo, Allan Arellano Jr., Winme Belonio, Heciel Kaye Cañete, Aeron Kish Causapin, Venrey Senm Ecang, Mary Ann Espino, Darmie Dane Flores, Demi Marie Galme, Angelica Gentiles, Charlyn Larosa, Sunday Vince Latergo;

Iris Barbra Mission, Jariz Oebanda, Mark Ortibano, Jennifer Saballa, Jun Aron Sabo, Marielle Lyn Sadio, Maria Blessel Mae Siloy, Thea Tabuga, Quincyanne Mari Tampo, Jessel Ann Tellermo, Ferry Tio, Karl Christopher Weber, and Lourd John Zamora.

The Baccalaureate Mass will be at 6 a.m. at the amphitheater, and will be officiated by Rev. Fr. Dionisio Selma, prior provincial of the OAR Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno. The graduation ceremonies will start at 4 p.m., the press release added.*

‘Wedding of the Year’

Manila’s singer-actress Malu Barry will be in Bacolod City, for a charity concert at the Saltimboca Music Hall at 15th-Lacson streets in Bacolod, 7 p.m. on April 6.

The concert, titled “Malu Barry - One and Only!”, is for the benefit of the construction of multi-purpose hall of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chaplaincy in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod, with Fr. Nitodel Soriano as parish priest.

Negrense charity diva Token Lizares and child wonder Joshua Pineda will also perform in the concert.

“The church needs your support,” Lizares stressed.
