A triple celebration
A triple celebration was held March 14 at the Benjamin Hall in Bacolod City. The first was the 73rd birthday of Mama Angeles (Ebsel) Santander, grandmother of Samantha Elise Ricafort, who also celebrated her second birthday, and the first birthday of cousin Ivo Nathaniel Jovia.
Samantha is the daughter of Rene and Hazel Ricafort. The hall was decorated with cute animals, like bees, butterflies, and frogs, shaped in colorful balloons. The program was hosted by Kenneth Mercado, and games included “Give me what I want”, marshmallow-eating contest by father and child, longest birthday greetings, pabitin and piñata.
Special attraction was the performance by a magician of different tricks that amazed both the children and their parents. It was late in the afternoon, but the children were still hyper as they played games and ate the goodies prepared.
To the celebrators, God bless, and may you have many more birthday candles to blow.*
