Negrenses to enjoy free live telecast of
Pacquiao - Mayweather epic fight
Free live telecast of the mega fight between Philippine boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and the undefeated champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be available for Negrenses this Sunday.
Giant screens will be set up at the Bacolod Arts, Youth and Sports Center, the Bacolod Government Center, and in barangays Bata, 16, Banago-, Sum-ag, Granada and Handumanan, Bacolod Mayor Monico Puentevella said.
The same set up will be available at the public plaza of Victorias City and Murcia town, at Natalio G. Velez Sports and Cultural Center in Silay City, Talisay Gym, and at Wilkinson Social Court in EB Magalona courtesy of third district Rep. Alfredo Benitez.

Mayweather focused LAS VEGAS - Floyd Mayweather stood nose to nose with Manny Pacquiao for the first time at a news conference, then said he can't promise their mega showdown will live up to all the pre-fight hype. "I can't say," Mayweather said when asked if the richest fight in boxing history will live up to its blockbuster billing. "Even if we fought at an extremely high pace, it is not for me to judge. SAE bowlfest opens The one-day Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity will hold its 1 st Summer Bowlfest 2015 today at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City, while the NOHS/BCNHS/DLNHS Triangular Bowling Tournament for Unity opens on Sunday at the same venue. The SAE three-game series will start after the 3 p.m. opening ceremony to be presided over by the fraternity's provincial head, Philip Bacucang. Teams from eight chapter province-wide will participate in the tournament. |
