CEBU CITY – Gun holders in Central Visayas, including Negros Oriental, no longer have to troop to Camp Crame in Manila to secure licenses to own, possess and register firearms.
This after the Philippine National Police Civil Security Group and Firearms Explosives opened a satellite office at the Police Regional Office 7 headquarters on Osmeña Boulevard in Cebu City.
Civil Security Group director, Melito Mabilin, said they opened the satellite office as part of the strict implementation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
