The Occidental Negros – Bacolod City Bowlers Association/Condura was second runner-up in the women's division of the 38 th Federation of Duckpin Bowlers Organization of the Philippines National Championship Bowling Tournament held in Davao City recently.

Zamboanga JCL Team was the champion, and Iligan City Bowlers Association was first runner-up.

Representing the ON-BACIBA/Condura Team were Precy Pillo, Sylvia Del Rosario, Cheryl Ramos, Tess Robles and Lea Javier.

In addition to the team award, Pillo also ranked No. 1 in the tournament's top 20 bowlers besting 19 other players from the teams that participated in the week-long event. Another Bacolod bet, Sharon Sioson of ON-BACIBA Sharp was No.12.

Bacolod delegation head and FEDBOP vice president, lawyer Corazon Romero said Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte attended the fellowship night of the tournament with delegates coming from the Visayas and Mindanao accredited bowling associations.

Romero said General Santos City Bowlers Association will be hosting next year's FEDBOP National Championship.*HLG
