BTTHS cagers reign in
Pueblo Rosario cagefest

Bacolod Tay Tung High School beat the Stallions, 95-73, to romp off with the 16 Under title of the 13th Pueblo Rosario Basketball League 2015, Sunday, at the Eroreco Subdivision in Bacolod City, a press release from organizers said.

Fritz Tagamolila paced the Thunderbolts with 25 points, Ralph Allen Cagalawan added 14 as playmakers Jester Sangco and Fritz Valencia handled the backcourt play of the team, the press release said.

Sangco was named Most Valuable Player and member of the mythical five, along with teammate Jayson Puray.

BTTHS beat the Warriors in Saturday's semifinals while the Stallions A Team defeated University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, the press release also said.

Stallions B was eliminated while St. John's Institute and Trinity Christian School pulled out of the tournament after the opening, the press release added.*
