Sister teams Sharp Aquos I and Sharp 2 emerged as champion in their respective division of 2015 Sharp/Condura Open Trio Bowling Tournament held at the New Top's Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

In the battle of Top 20 players, Oscar Clenen of Joe'sTeam bagged the master's plum.

The premiere division champion Sharp Aquos I of Irne Diaz outscored Davies I of Edgar Jerez in the final game, 360-329, to win the tournament's title and the top prize.

Main man Art Palo provided the spark for the winning squad with 129 pinfalls, while Nonoy Hulguin and Reymund Lopez completed the romp with 121 and 110, respectively.

Joe Latoza posted 113, and Iran Pielago and Marlon Faisan contributed 108 points each for the losing cause of Davies.

Seeded No.3, Davies took the opportunity to challenge the No.1 team by dumping seeded No.4 Joe's Team in the quarterfinals, 366-361, then followed it up with a convincing win over No.2 PLS Electronz of Pat Mendoza in the semifinals, 317-273.

In the non-rated division, the Sharp 2 team who finished No.2 after the elimination round stole the show by knocking out the twice-to-beat and top seed K of C Candles in two games, 323-289 and 347-297 to grab the Bracket B title.

Sharp top gunner Mico Apua delivered 120 points, while Carlo Boyero and Toto Flores toppled 114 and 113, respectively.

Only Melot Alimon scored in triple-digit for Candles with 113. His teammates Frantit Miranda and Lito Masculino posted 96 and 88 points.

Davies II and FRM Marketing/Sharp settled for second and third runners-up.

The team's highest single and triple record holders were Sharp II and ASSFBI Solid Strikers with 401 and 1,097 points.

In the individual contest, Melot Alimon of Candles and Albert P of Solid Strikers established the tournament's highest pinning and single with 97 and 166, while Team captain Edgar De Leon of Class A champion Sharp Aquos I in triple with 389.

Meanwhile, the next Top's Millennium Plaza Pre-Christmas Open Trio Bowling Extravaganza will unfold, Nov.11 at the same venue.*HLG
