UNO-R Rams capture NOPSSCEA
Season 35 men's basketball crown
Playing at the enemy's homecourt did not stop the UNO-R Rams from completing a two-game sweep of the best-of-three finals as they beat the USLS Stingers, 75-68, at the St. La Salle Coliseum last night to bag the NOPSSCEA Season 35 men's basketball title.
It was the second for the Recoletos team four years after Roland “Girom” Aledron took over the reins as head coach of the Rams.
“This is second in four years and I am giving credit to the players for showing great teamwork,” Aledron said.

Team Bacolod eyes medals Athletes and officials representing Bacolod City joined the parade as the 2015 Batang Pinoy National Championship opened at the Abellana Sports Complex in Cebu City. Headed by Art Puentevella of the Office of Youth and Sports Development, the Bacolod team is strengthened by the presence of young athletes who are targeting the gold medal in the competition that will run until Dec. 2. Proudly holding the city banner were softball player Grecilyn Alipato and karateka Randy Dave Mengullo. |
