Energreen Power Corp. is not in default in its 18.9MW power supply contract with Central Negros Electric Cooperative, its legal counsel Gina Mirano-Jesena said in a press release issued to the DAILY STAR.
This was in reaction to calls by Vicente Petierre III, legal counsel of consumer group, Utilities Consumers Alliance of Negros, to rescind the contract for failure of Energreen to deliver.
Jesena said Petierre is apparently not aware of the details of the Ceneco-Energreen amended Memorandum of Agreement signed in August 2013 and its supplementary agreement signed in July 2014.
