‘10M trees in 10 years'
BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO

The signing of a partnership agreement between Energy Development Corp. and its first set of partners, led by representatives of the governors of Negros Occidental and Oriental, highlighted the launching of EDC's “10M in 10 for a greener Negros” program at the Saint Paul University in Dumaguete City, Saturday.

The expanded BINHI greening legacy program of EDC will pave the way for 10 million trees to be planted, grown and maintained in the next 10 years. This will be done with EDC's various partners from private companies and government agencies, local governments, the academe, the military, police, media and NGOs, to restore the forest covers of Negros Island. .moremoremore
