The 888 Chinatown Premier will hold its soft opening today in time for the MassKara festival celebration.

William Ong, owner of the modern mall will lead the opening rites in the presence of family, friends, tenants, guests and mall goers and shoppers, a press release from 888 Chinatown Premier said.

This newly constructed mall houses over 400 stores that include a lifestyle supermarket, a department store, optical shops, dental clinic, salon and spa, skin care clinics, drugstores, jewelry stores and a wide selection of the latest in fashion RTW's, accessories, shoes and bags, it said.

Food lovers can also try different mouth-watering delicacies from restaurants, food carts and at the food court located at the mall's Chopsticks Alley where free wifi is also available, it added.

Puregold hypermarket opened on October 9 and is strategically located near the center of the new mall that has modern facilities where shoppers can leisurely walk around and enjoy a one-stop shop, the press release said.

This two storey mall is fully airconditioned, with an indoor event center to hold exciting events, has a scenic elevator and escalators, and a wide basement parking area equipped with sensors and a driver's lounge, it said.

The operation of this new mall is an addition to the existing 888 Chinatown mall where shoppers can choose from the variety of stores that offer affordable and fashionable clothing lines and other goods and products, the press release said.

The 888 Premier mall is connected to 888 Chinatown Square Phase 1 or "Ang Mall sang Masa" by a modern skywalk made of steel and glass and is aesthetically lighted at night, it said.

Ong said the new and existing mall provides job opportunities to Bacolodnons and Negrenses.
