Achievement Awards today

The Negros Press Club Inc., in partnership with the Rotary Club of Bacolod East, will hold the 2 nd Media Excellence and Lifetime Achievement Awards, 6 tonight at the Social Hall of the provincial Capitol building in Gatuslao Street, Bacolod City.

There are 11 awardees in the two categories, who will be named during the awarding ceremony, and the giving of awards will be led by NPC president Dolores Epacta and RCBE president, Dr. Benjamin Souribio, a press release from the NPC said.

Ms. MassKara Queen Sam Gergiana Yu, who was named Ms. MassKara Rotary Advocacy, and Ms. Darling of the Press Kennyveb Casabuena were also invited to grace the occasion, along with provincial and Bacolod City officials, and NPC and RCBE officers and members.

It is supported by Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr., the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, PanAsiatic Solutions Inc., and several benefactors. The program started in 2014, and the NPC and RCBE agreed to make this a yearly affair, to recognize media practitioners for their commitment towards responsible media practice, the press release added.*
