GRECON Negros
inducts officers

The Grains Retailers' Confederation of the Philippines (GRECON) –Negros Occidental Chapter elected and inducted its new set of officers for 2016 Friday and announced more programs for the socio-economic development of the community.

Shirley Nacion, re-elected president, said yesterday that the Negros chapter performed well last year in terms of community involvement and participation in regional and national programs that led them to become more enthusiastic for further developments next year.

She pointed out that in a Visayas region gathering last year, Negros Occidental GRECON was a top performer and was commended for being active up until the national gathering.

Elected with Nacion are Rolly Dolor - vice president, Febe Tan –

secretary, Gemma Dequito – assistant secretary, Eden Darato –treasurer, Ryant Tan – assistant treasurer, Rey Regida - auditor, Juvi Develdos – business manager, John Deles – PIO as well as chairman for committees- Eden Darato (Finance), Febe Tan (Membership Screening), Felix Baridiand (Investigation), John Deles (Rules) and Juvi Develdos (Project Development).

National Food Authority Senior Grains Operations officer and information officer for Negros Occidental, Cynthia Luz Chua, said that part of GRECON's objectives is to support the implementation of special government programs or projects coursed through NFA.*KDP
