Alumni homecoming
La Consolacion College-Bacolod celebrated its general alumni homecoming for hi-school graduates Sunday, with a mass officiated by vicar general, Msgr. Louie Galbines.
The LCC auditorium was packed with graduates of yesteryears, all looking lovely and well-dressed, and happy to be with their classmates and friends.
I joined Mila Moya of High School Class 58, where she is president. I observed that each class wore different shirt colors to emphasize the year they graduated.
After the mass, school principal, Sr. Herberta Catigan, thanked all the graduates for their attendance. Pictures were taken and the alumni greeted classmates and friends before going to their favorite resto or place for lunch.
It was one of the best reunions that I attended, and there was a plan to meet Sept. 30 for another meeting.*
Remember: God alone is good. Don't settle for second best. As light overcomes darkness, goodness can overcome evil.*
