Basketball Unified Sports Group, bankrolled by Condura, is fielding two select teams in the 40 Up/ 50Up Basketball Invitationals that will kick off tomorrow in Kabankalan City.

The 50-Up Huskies are scheduled to play against Hinigaran at 4 p.m., while the 40-Up team will play at 5:30 p.m. against the same Hinigaran Amateur Basketball Association (HABA) team.

Spearheading the older BUSG Huskies are Vic Duenas, Melvin Baclay, Edgar Basco with stalwards Nene Sibaya, Ireneo Morales, Rey de Guzman and Jovito Yasay.

The 40 UP Huskies are Rene Antones, Boy Ciocon, Rex Bayer, Berto Celis, John Tumamot, Hermi Derwil, Bandoy Aliermo, Kokoy Fuentebella, Dagol Flores and Raymundo Sapa.

BUSG adviser Bing Soyao said the members of the select teams were tapped from the champion squads of the recent Sharp - BUS Group 40/50 tournament at JGC gym at Goldenfields Commercial Complex.

The 40 Up Huskies will be up against eight other teams in the Kabankalan tournament while the 50 Up squad will compete against Aguisan, HABA, BUSG, Binalbagan, La Castellan and host Kabankalan.*
