The body of trisikad driver Jesus Mahusay, single, with no permanent address, was found by residents in a canal at the national highway in Sitio Looc, Barangay Poblacion, Guihulngan.

Residents told police that the victim, with a hack wound on his forehead, was slumped face down on the ground, when they found him, police records show.
