PRC: Silliman sixth in
RND Examination

Silliman University was ranked sixth among top performing schools in the 2012 Nutritionist-Dietician Licensure Examination recently by the Professional Regulation Commission among schools with 25 or more examinees, its press release said.

The results released July 27 by PRC showed that Silliman produced 20 new registered nutritionist-dieticians, and garnered a passing rate of 64.42 percent, the press release also said.

The passers are Mary Grace Adolfo, Ruby Jane Amor, Ma. Princess Bagarinao, Dianne Delos Reyes, Casandra Eparwa, Ann Francis Genove, Alessa Rose Godmalin, Isaiah Thomas Lim, Hannah Liezl Kadile, Loreine Ragay, Stephanie Reyes, Aimee Rubia, Jasmin Sarmago, Nikita Kaye Serion, Ivy Love Sy, Lea Dianne Tatoy, Careen Tomaroy, Dundee Mayrell Tumarong, Jhon Edison Uy and Trisha Erika Verora.

About 601 of the total 896 takers in the Philippines passed the examination.

Earlier, the Nutrition and Dietetics Program of the University, that is under the College of Education, became the first in the country to be granted Level I accreditation status by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities, the press release also said.*
