TFM to renew clamor on
land reform cause

The Task Force Mapalad-Negros will hold a rally today at the Bacolod City Public Plaza to demand that President Benigno Aquino III fulfill his promise on the completion and implementation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, Lani Factor, TFM deputy coordinator, said yesterday.

Factor said they had a dialog with Aquino on June 14 in Malacañang and he promised to act on it.

She said that farmers do not want anything this Christmas and the promised land distribution will be the best gift Aquino can give them.

Two groups from the north and south of Negros will converge at the public plaza and at 10:30 a.m. they will attend a mass at the San Sebastian Cathedral, she also said.

Fr. Ernie Larida, head of the Social Action Center of the Diocese of Bacolod, will deliver the homily in behalf of Bishop Vincente Navarra.

Representatives of TFM-Negros will leave for Manila tomorrow to join other members in pressing their demands to Aquino, she added. *LTG
