Venus blessing

The Venus Lights and Lamps, whose name is derived from Venus, goddess of beauty, recently held its grand blessing with Fr. Naring de la Cruz blessing the place and Mayor Bing Leonardia doing the ribbon cutting of its new two-storey building.

On display were all types of gate lamps, wall lamps, hanging lamps, chandeliers, led lamps.

The business began in 1976 as Bacolod Venus Enterprises, the pioneer light store in the city, and now it has its own building.

It is owned by Alvin and Gwen Dongon, and managed by their son, Adrian.
