Almost 100 runners from Bacolod City and neighboring areas  recently participated in the World Run Day celebrations.

This year, Bacolod made it to the list when iRUN Bacolod organized a Friendship & Unity Roadrun.

Elite and recreational runners ran and paced together for 5K, 10K and 15K distance  from the Capitol Lagoon to Talisay City and back.

Arroz caldo, pandesal, bananas and water were provided by generous runners  to the whole group.

“iRun Bacolod” is a group of running advocates which seeks to promote the sport of running in the city.*CLL
