Prices of domestic or "B" sugar slightly dropped this week, ranging
from P1,050 to P1,138.80 per 50-kilo Lkg., except for two mill districts
that sold their stocks at higher prices, figures released by the
Sugar Master Plan Foundation show.
Last week's prices were between P1,064 to P1,178.79 per Lkg.
This week, the mill districts with higher prices are SONEDCO at
P1,105.85, from the previous week's P1,102.38, and CADP, P1,130
(high) and P1,087 (low) up from only P1,105 (high) and P1,064 (low)
last week.
Sagay Central Inc.'s millgate price remained at P1,100. Binalbagan-Isabela
Sugar Company sold its stocks at P1,135.03 (high) and P1,102.59
(low), from the previous week's P1,136.10 (not P1,361.10) (high)
and P1,110.58 (low). BISCOM sold a total volume of 30,279.62 Lkgs.
this week, higher than last week's 17,991.72 Lkgs.
Central Azucarera de La Carlota disposed its stocks at P1,113.25;
Hawaiian-Philippine Company, P1,125.25 (high) and P1,121.76 (low),
16,375.52 Lkgs.;
Lopez Sugar Corp., P1,050; BUSCO, P1,075; Passi I, P1,138.80;
Passi II, P1,127; Pilar, P1,100; and Bais, P1,085 (high) and P1,079.50
