IN DUMAGUETE The Department of Transportation and Communications has ordered an immediate survey of the under deck of the Port of Dumaguete to determine its worthiness after it was battered by surging seawaters and waves brought by super typhoon “Pablo” early this month. Port manager Annie Lee Manese said her office will submit to general manager Juan Sta. Ana, and DOTC Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya the program of work and the detailed engineering plan of the underdeck for funding this week. The survey will ensure that the Roll-On, Roll Off ports are still in good condition, she added. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
