Woman abducted, robbed
by 3 bonnet-wearing men A woman was abducted and robbed allegedly by three unidentified bonnet-wearing men at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday at Gonzaga-Lacson streets in Bacolod City.
The complainant, whose name the police withheld, 41, of Purok Bolinao in Brgy. 1, Bacolod, said the suspects, who were on board a top-down tricycle, blocked her way and held her up.
She said the suspects took her cellular phone valued at P3,000, three gold rings worth P7,000 and P4,000 in cash. She also said they forced her into their tricycle and tied both her hands.
The suspects then grabbed her hair, banged her head on the wall and brought her somewhere in Bago City, Negros Occidental, where they left her.
Meanwhile, unidentified men ransacked a printing and photocopy establishment at the Bacolod City downtown area, and took a digital camera and cash worth P8,000.
Virgilio Duyungco, 70, owner of Vircel Photocopier and printing center, at Araneta Street, said one of his employees discovered the robbery at about 6 a.m.
Investigation conducted by Police Officer 2 Jared Esquilla showed that the robbers destroyed the padlocks on the folding steel doors and took the digital camera valued at P6,000, and P2,000 in cash.
Station 1 policemen are investigating the incident.*APN
