131 job applicants
‘hired on-the-spot’

A total of 131 applicants were hired on the spot in the recent employers’ interview conducted by the Public Employment Service Office of Bacolod City and representatives of Jones International and YHMD International Manpower Services.

Moises de la Cruz, PESO manager, said that the hired applicants will work for McDonalds-Saudi Arabia and Burger King-Saudi Arabia.

Jones International hired 69 applicants while YHMD hired 62. The workers will have to prepare their requirements and once they are done with their medical examination, they will immediately start working abroad, de la Cruz said.

He also asked applicants to coordinate with the representatives of the recruitment agencies that hired them so that they will be guided on their preparations for their respective jobs.

Meanwhile, representatives of Omanfil conduct their initial interviews for applicants at PESO tomorrow for service crews and management trainees to work in Bahrain.

On Wednesday and Thursday, representatives of Pacific Mediterranean and Lead Resources will conduct their initial interviews for skilled workers and service crews for Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates respectively.

Applicants must bring their resume, application letter, employment and training certificates, 2x2 pictures, and passport.

De la Cruz also reminded all applicants not to wear shorts and slippers when applying.*LTG
