BCNHS, NOHS take lead in
Fellowship bowling tilt

Bacolod City National High School Batch ’89 and Negros Occidental High School Class ’74 grabbed the 1-2 position in the opening round of the BCNHS/NOHS/DLNHS organized Triangular Bowling Fellowship at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The BCNHS ’89 bowlers rolled 488 in the first game, 507 in the second and 501 in the third outing for a total score of 1,496 balls.

NOHS ’74 toppled 1,482 to occupy the second spot followed by DLNHS ’75 with 1,468.

BCHS ‘72/76 and BCNHS ’89 established the team’s highest single and triple with 512 and 1,496, respectively.

The top 15 after five rounds of elimination phase on June 10 will be bracketed into three categories. The top five teams will be segregated to Class A division; six to 10 placers in Class B department, and the 11 to 15 squads to Class C category.

The competitors in their respective brackets will then vie for the top spot in another five rounds of competition, where the No.1 squad will earn the right to be beaten twice in an up-the-ladder system, to determine the champion.

The non-winning entries will clash for the consolation prize at stake.
