Jeepney drivers told:
Comply with fare cut

The Bacolod Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board is reminding jeepney drivers to comply with the fare matrix and avoid overcharging the commuters to avoid penalties.

Lino Gulmatico, LTFRB-Bacolod head, yesterday also asked drivers to remove their notices on the P8 provisional fare increase and collect the P7.50 regular fare rate and P6 for senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities.

He also reminded drivers who have no fair matrix to get copies from the LTFRB.

Gulmatico encouraged commuters to report drivers who overprice their fare rates at the LTFRB office, by recording their plate numbers and the name of the operator.

He said complaints must be filed at their office so that they can summon the drivers and the operators.* LTG
