Christmas Cup bowlfest
rolls off tonight at Top’s

The Christmas Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament starts at 6 tonight at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The tournament is a 10-schedule game where the top four squads battle for the title in an up-the-ladder system.

Meanwhile, Batch ’69 temporarily took the lead in the St. Joseph – La Salle Fellowship Bowling Tournament at the Lopue’s East Bowling Centre in Bacolod City.

After completing 23 games, Batch ’69 is leading with 11,976 points followed by Batch ’78 with 11,907.

Batch ’69 also holds the record for the team highest single and triple with 601 and 1,685, respectively.

Third and fourth are Class ’83 and Class ’85 with 11,751 and 11,686.

Also competing with the same number of games played areBatch ’74 with 11,310; Batch ’71, 11,273; Class ’72, 10,550; Batch ’98, 10,461, and 9,953.

Leading in the individual competition are Elmer Libo-on of Batch ’78 in highest single with 158, Remo Jareño (B’88-01) in triple with 397 and B’69 bet Edgar Alagaban in pinning with 94 in the men’s division.

Stella Ongsingco (B-83) leading in the women’s department with 158 points in the women’s highest single, while Ma.Suzette Morales (B’80-81), and Ging Amor (B’83) in triple and pinning with 377 and 93.

Remo Jareño of Batch ’88-01 and teammate Minnie Chua are leadingbattle the top 10 players in their categories.*HLG
